We are located in the
centre of the village on the A86 Spean Bridge to
Newtonmore Road.
Parking
and a bus stop are available nearby in the village square.
The railway
station is a few minutes walk and has train services in both
directions on the scenic Glasgow to Fort William "West Highland Line"
This post office also serves the surrounding crofting townships and
villages of Bohenie, Bohuntin, Bohuntinville, Braeroy Estate, Inverroy,
Bunroy, Bunlossit, Glenspean Park, Achluachrach, Murlaggan, Tulloch,
Fersit and Moy.

The village is the
centre for a
large sparsely populated rural area; there are two
hotels, a hostel and a campsite in the village and another hotel,
hostel and campsite within a mile of the centre. Roy Bridge is situated
at the foot of Glen Roy where the river Roy flows into the river
Spean both rivers are well known for kayaking. Glen
Roy is famous for its "parallel roads" which are ancient
shorelines high on the hillsides formed by glacial
lakes. The glacial and lake-bed deposits
transform the whole valley into a spectacular geological site
of special scientific interest SSSI.
The single track road which meanders up the valley has fantastic views
and makes an interesting
drive or bike ride leading to more places
to explore on foot or bike.
